on health care.gov over 40 times. couldn't do it. now they are in contact with insurance companies without the government plan. they are finding out their exposure will double going from $20,000 a year to $40,000 a year. that's not health security. that's health insecurity. it's caused by obama care. >> these are real people. >> they are. >> they have known for three years about this. it's not only hurting the individual market, but also hurting small employers and large employers to the point forbes is estimating it will be 93 million americans. they are using government numbers to get to that figure. >> millions of americans aren't going to realize they cancelled the plan. they will have coverage under the same company. what they are not going to realize is because the mandated coverages. congressman blackburn was right. some people want to purchase something. they want to have the freedom to purchase a lesser plan because it's what they can afford.

they can't afford the mandated coverages. this president is driving up the cost of health care. he'll make it less accessible. it's a shame. >> is there anything we can do about the president's promised savings? most american peoples now are experiencing -- if not cancellations, outright rate shock and dramatic increases in premiums, 45 of 50 states. can you do anything about this promise of the president? >> we estimate we can cut the average family's premium by $2500 a year. >> time to bring down the typical family premium by $2500. time to bring down costs for the country. >> so you're going to have a clear contrast. john mccain, bush light health care plan or a plan that lowers premiums by $2500. >> what do you think, senator? >> hafs a pipe dream. anybody that believed that, i don't know what to say.

that's a broken promise. obama care raises premiums and there is no way that promise can be honored. there was a way to grandfather current plaps. americans should have the freedom to keep a health care plan like the president promised. i'm asking democratic senators to join with us. i recall 85 americans were satisfied with the health care plan. now we have remade our current health care system to lower quality, lead to rations, reduce innovation. we have to reverse the trend. >> there is not one democrat red state democrat even that has the integrity to say we have an obligation to uphold our promise? nobody? not one? >> mary landrieu is talking about it. the question we need to ask
